Knicks 114, Pistons 104: scenes of Julius Randle performing a show of the stars before the game of the stars

The Detroit Pistons did their best to beat the New York Knicks on Thursday night, but in the end the Pistons are not a very good team and the Knicks have Julius Randle. That was the difference in the Knicks’ 114-104 victory, which was a little too close to be comfortable in the end.

How good has Randle been this season? So good:

Randle scored 27 points in 11-19 shots, 16 rebounds and 7 assists. It looked like he was barely starting to sweat as he overcame Detroit and his muscles, especially in the interval.

Still, the Pistons refused to leave. They dropped a 19-point deficit to 10 and tried to reach single digits when they met the great man Mason Plumlee at halftime. Julius was not accepting.

RJ Barrett stood out as Randle’s right-hand man (who happens to be a southpaw). The 20-year-old scored 21 points from 9-13 shots to go along with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. He continued to be money from the corners.

Elfrid Payton (20 points) had a very strong game coming back from injury and Nerlens Noel (12 points, 11 rebounds) has continued his strong game recently.

The bank struggled, but Frank Ntilikina had a fun first half, hitting three triples in quick succession.

Well, that’s it for the first half of the 2020-21 season. The Knicks are between 19 and 18 years old, which confuses the mind. Recap to come.
