Kinzinger: Republicans can’t afford the ‘clean conscience’ object after listening to Trump’s tape

“This is absolutely amazing,” tweeted Kinzinger, who has become one of the biggest Republican critics of President Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 election. “To all members of Congress who are considering opposing the election results, you cannot – in light of that – do it with a clear conscience. #RestoreOurGOP ”

In the recording, obtained by the Washington Post, Trump asks Raffensperger to “find” more than 11,000 ballots to overcome the deficit between him and President-elect Biden in the state of Peach.

“I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we are. Because we won in the state ”, says Trump in the recording.
