Kingsley Keke doubtful, Aaron Donald good to go

The Green Bay Packers provided just one injury designation in Thursday’s final injury report, while the Los Angeles Rams declared an out quarterback and a very important defensive player ready to go.

The Packers and Rams will play in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

For the Packers, striker Kingsley Keke is the only player with an injury. He is still going through the concussion protocol and is listed as in doubt after not practicing all week. He lost two games in a row.

The Rams received good and bad news about the final injury report. While quarterback John Wolford is officially out because of a neck injury, All-Pro defensive striker Aaron Donald does not have an injury designation and will play due to a rib injury.

Rams receiver Cooper Kupp is questionable with a knee injury, newcomer Terrell Lewis is out with an ankle injury and striker David Andrews is questionable with an ankle injury.

Kupp, who received 92 Rams passes in 2020, is a player to watch when inactive players are announced 90 minutes before the start of the game on Saturday. The Rams are clearly less confident in their ability to play compared to Donald.

On the other hand, the Packers removed cornerback Kevin King, receiver Allen Lazard, tight end Marcedes Lewis, edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and offensive tackle Rick Wagner from the injury report, which means that all six will play smoothly on Saturday. The week off allowed Matt LaFleur’s team to be healthier to start the playoffs.

The Rams cannot say the same. Wolford’s absence confirms that Jared Goff will start as quarterback. He injured his neck during Rams’ victory over the Seattle Seahawks last week. Donald and Kupp also suffered injuries during the victory in Seattle.

The Packers will be without left-wing striker David Bakhtiari, who is injured, and striker Jared Veldheer, who was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday.
