‘Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning’ begins to change on March 16

Kingdoms of Amalur: recap is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 16, publisher THQ Nordic announced today. The 2020 remastering of 2012 Kingdoms of Amalur: Evaluation was first released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It comes with all of the game’s DLCs currently available. In addition, THQ Nordic plans to launch a new expansion for the game called Fatesworn still this year.

Although moderately critical and commercial success when it launched, Kingdoms of Amalur: Evaluation is best remembered now for all the controversy surrounding developer 38 Studios. The studio was founded by former Red Sox pitcher, Curt Schilling. He started life in Massachusetts, but moved to Rhode Island after securing a $ 75 million loan from the state’s Economic Development Corporation. When 38 Studios declared bankruptcy in late 2012, Rhode Island taxpayers had to repay the loan, which by that time had increased to $ 112.6 million thanks to interest.
