King Machine Expands Manufacturing Complex in Sumter, South Carolina

King Machine, a maker of tire molds, plans to expand operations at the Black River Industrial Park in Sumter, South Carolina. The investment of more than $ 2.6 million will create 30 new jobs in Sumter County.

The project includes a 50,000-square-foot facility with a custom finish that will increase the company’s operational capacity. The expansion is expected to be completed by 2024.

Founded in 1951, King Machine manufactures tire molds and components for original equipment and aftermarket. The company also provides mold, storage, repair and overhaul services, as well as technical advisory services to support tire operations.
