Kim Kardashian and Kanye West appear to be giving up, according to a new report.
A source told Page Six that “divorce is imminent” for the two.
“They are keeping a low profile, but they are ready,” said the source. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in negotiations.”
Wasser is a well-known divorce attorney in Hollywood and frequently oversees starred divorces.

Kardashian, West and Wasser representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News’s request for comment.
Meanwhile, E! News reports that the couple is going their separate ways, but Kardashian has not yet officially filed for divorce because she wants to make sure she is “making the right decision for her children,” said a source.

The 40-year-old reality show star married the hip-hop icon, 43, in May 2014. They share four children: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 1.
TMZ also reports that the two have lived apart for a few months and that their relationship was “in serious trouble in the last half of 2020”, with the couple allegedly in marriage counseling.

“Kim made Kanye go up there [to Wyoming] so that they could live separate lives and, in silence, resolve things to separate and divorce. It’s over, “echoed the Page Six source. Likewise, the E! News source says,” Kim knows the marriage is over. She has been known for a while. ”
According to TMZ, “no final decision has been made”, but the vehicle informs that, when it comes to divorce, one does not “bet against”.
The problem in paradise between the two was first reported during the summer, when West announced his candidacy for the presidency in the 2020 election.

During what Kardashian later suggested was an episode caused by his bipolar disorder, West raised the possibility of divorcing his wife at a campaign event while claiming they were considering aborting their first child.
“Even though my wife wants to divorce me after that speech, she brought North into the world even when I didn’t want to,” said West to a crowd while crying, according to People magazine.

In a deleted tweet, rapper “Power” also said he was “trying” to divorce Kardashian since she attended a prison reform event with Meek Mill in 2018.
In the same speech, he also shadowed Kardashian’s Playboy past disclosure and stated that the mother of reality show star Kris Jenner was no longer allowed to see her children.

He later apologized for Twitter’s rant, but the ordeal made Kardashian “furious”.
In July, it was reported that the couple had been considering divorce for weeks and that Kardashian and his famous family were “protecting” their children from their father’s public outbursts.
Later that month, the stars were seen having an emotional conversation in Wyoming, where Yeezy’s founder owns a ranch and stayed for a while over the summer.

Things seemed to have improved between the two, as Kardashian showed support for her husband at one of his Sunday worship events in August and was also seen laughing with West in a family video the same month.
In the past month, however, it appears that things may have gotten worse, as reports emerged that the two were leading “separate lives” and were spending “a lot of time apart”.

The wedding is West’s first and Kardashian’s third. She was married to Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 and to basketball professional Kris Humphries from 2011 to 2013, although she filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage.
Kardashian and West started dating in 2012, while the Skims creator was still legally married and engaged a few months after the divorce was finalized.
The Page Six source said the “divorce is happening because Kim has grown so much.”

“She is serious about taking the order and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her campaign for prison reform,” they said. “In the meantime, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy shit, and she’s sick of it.”
Kardashian expressed an interest in becoming a lawyer and devoted a relatively large amount of attention to prison reform. She recently visited death row inmates Julius Jones and Brandon Bernard, even asking President Trump to commute the latter’s execution.

The source also said that West attended Kardashian’s extravagant birthday party on the island in October for just one day.
“He showed up late and left early, he wouldn’t show up on any of the Instagram photos. All he did was bring up the hologram of her father, Robert Kardashian, and he left there as quickly as he could,” explained the source to page six.

In addition, the couple’s home in Calabasas is reportedly a point of contention, as Kardashian is asking her husband to give it to her, as this is where the children are living.
“This is not the first time that they have talked about a split, but this time it is much, much more serious,” said the source.

According to TMZ, Kardashian and West have many “differences” ranging from lifestyle to politics, but the two agree when it comes to parenting.
People magazine reports that West is well aware of Kardashian’s desire to divorce, although he is not sure when exactly Kardashian will file the lawsuit.
“He knows she’s done,” a source told the channel. “She is fed up and told him that she wants some space to discover her future.”

The source said West is understandably discouraged by the whole situation.
“He’s fine. He’s sad, but fine. He knows the inevitable is going to happen, and he knows it’s coming,” they said.

In addition, a second source told the outlet that although the divorce “eventually happens”, Kardashian is “chattering” about the idea.

Kardashian became Hollywood royalty alongside her mother Kris and sisters: Kourtney, 41, Khloé, 36, Kendall Jenner, 25, and Kylie Jenner, 23, as well as her 33-year-old brother Rob.
Several prominent figures were part of the famous family as well, including Caitlyn Jenner, Blac Chyna, Scott Disick and Tristan Thompson.
