Kim Kardashian, Kanye West divorce details revealed: reports

New details about the divorce from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been revealed.

According to court documents, the reality show cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce.

Kardashian also allegedly requested that the ability to provide child support by herself or West be terminated, according to Entertainment Tonight and Us Weekly, which obtained court papers.

The documents also reveal that the date of the split is still “TBD” and, as previously reported, that the famous pair had a prenuptial agreement in place.

The prenuptial agreement, which will help them avoid a furious dispute over their huge fortune, states that the assets and obligations of rapper “Power” and Kardashian are their respective properties.

The documents were filled out on Monday, February 22, and the creator of Skims is being represented by the famous divorce attorney for the stars, Laura Wasser, nicknamed “Queen Disso”.

Last week, it was revealed that Kardashian, 40, is also seeking joint and legal custody of the four children she shares with West, 43: North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3 and Psalm, 1.

Fox News sought representatives from both parties.

The separation is considered perfectly friendly.

Reports of reasoning for the divorce have varied, with sources previously claiming that his policy, lifestyle, home in Calabasas and even the rapper’s surprisingly brief presence at his wife’s lavish birthday party last year were all points of contention.

The two started dating in 2012 and confirmed their relationship by appearing together at public events.

They were married on May 24, 2014, in a ceremony in a Renaissance fortress in Florence, Italy.

The news that Kardashian had filed for divorce was released earlier this month.

The wedding was West’s first and Kardashian’s third. She was first married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000-2004, then to basketball professional Chris Humphries from 2011-2013, although she filed for divorce just 72 days after the wedding.

News of a split between Kardashian and West first appeared in January.

When the reports first appeared in January, E! News reports that Kardashian had not filed divorce papers yet because she wanted to make sure she was “making the right decision for the children,” according to a source.
