Kim Kardashian is facing Instagram critics who claim that her daughter, North West, did not create the art that Kardashian showed on Tuesday.
“DON’T PLAY WITH ME WHEN MY CHILDREN ARE !!!” said the founder of Skims in her Instagram story. “My daughter and her best friend are taking a serious oil painting course, where their talents and creativity are being encouraged and nurtured.”
“North worked hard on his painting, which took several weeks to complete,” she continued. “As a proud mother, I wanted to share her work with everyone. I am seeing opinion articles in the media and on adult social networks breaking whether my son really painted it or not, ”she continued, alluding to the popular theory that the piece was actually a painting by Bob Ross. “How dare you see children doing amazing things and then try to accuse them of NOT being amazing!?!?!”
She concluded, “NORTH WEST PINTED THAT PERDIOTDDDABCDEFGZFDT !!!!”
Kardashian, 40, didn’t stop there, however, and shared the painting of North Ryan’s friend, as well as the art that Kanye West created as a child.
Kardashian’s best friend, Tracy Romulus – whose daughter Ryan is also talented with a brush – defended the girls on social media earlier in the day.
“The two girls are in art class together and learning oil painting techniques from an instructor,” she told fans. “They spend weeks on a single painting and are extremely proud of themselves when they complete a project.”
Romulus added that North, 7 and Ryan follow a curriculum that encourages their own interpretation of the artwork at hand.
