Kim Kardashian can be many things – a mother, a business woman, even a lawyer – but one thing she is not is a meteorologist.
On Wednesday, the 40-year-old reality show star filmed a video of a dark climate in her cozy Calabasas, vehemently declaring that “it is snowing”, despite being hail.
Apparently the only one of her famous sisters not to understand the difference between the two – which she was corrected for later – a shocked Kim exclaimed ‘This is crazy, my basketball court is snow white !!!’

Despite making many trips to snowy climates in her privileged life, the SKIMS founder seemed so surprised by anything beyond 60 degrees and sunshine in California that she was speechless.
She filmed herself exploring the grounds of her backyard in Hidden Hills while talking about the ‘insane’ snow, becoming more and more shocked.
‘Okay, this is crazy you guys, it’s snowing in Calabasas. I don’t know if you can see that, but this is absolutely insane. ‘
She reached out to catch the falling drops of ice before placing her palm in front of the camera. ‘This is crazy – it’s literally snowing in Calabasas. This is really crazy – how is this happening? ‘
Cold spell: she filmed herself exploring the grounds of her Hidden Hills backyard while talking about “insane” snow, getting more and more shocked to see her black basketball court under a sea of white
Icy drops: she reached out to catch the falling icy drops, placing her palm towards the camera while saying ‘This is crazy – it is literally snowing in Calabasas. This is really crazy – how is this happening? ‘
Out of her element: clearly surprised by something other than 60 degrees and sun, she couldn’t find words to describe the weather
Standing corrected: ‘If you are from California, it’s called SNOW, not hail LOL’, Kim wrote in his defense
Correct answer: Khloe was able to correctly identify that it was hail, as well as the model Winnie Harlow who marked Kim in her Instagram story
His sister Khloe posted a similar story, but was able to correctly identify the ice by writing ‘Ave in Calabasas?’
Kendall also filmed her backyard from her Beverly Hills apartment, as she too was hit by the strange weather.
When model Winnie Harlow also posted about the weather and tagged Kim on Instagram while talking about hail, she tried to explain her mistake.
“If you’re from California, the name is SNOW not hail LOL,” she wrote while republishing the story.

Some experience: she made many trips to the real snow in her life, but she didn’t seem to expect anything like that close to home.

After her posts, she was inundated on Instagram and Twitter with corrections from fans, causing Kim to acknowledge the situation in a fun way again.

A Twitter user wrote ‘Our weather correspondent just informed us that it is snowing in Calabasas today while we tweet.’
Another wrote ‘It’s @kimkardashian calling hail, snow for me personally’, which made Kim laugh.
But another user said that Kim could not do anything wrong, as shared, ‘If @kimkardashian says it’s snow, THEN IT’S YOUR SNOW.’
