Khloé Kardashian, Tristan made embryos to expand the family

Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are planning to expand their family.

The “Keep Up With the Kardashians” star, 36, revealed that she went through IVF “three different times” in an attempt to give her 2-year-old daughter, True Thompson, a brother.

“I already froze my eggs once and when I was ready to make embryos with Tristan, I was making embryos,” she said in Sarah Hyland’s original digital series “Ellen,” Lady Parts, “adding that” none of them survived “after she thawed the eggs he had frozen.

After the failed attempts, Khloé said he realized that his eggs were not strong enough to be frozen.

“They must be mixed immediately with the sperm to make embryos. So, actually, I made embryos, ”said Khloé.

The founder of Good American also said that the coronavirus pandemic slowed the expansion of her family and that of Thompson, 29.

“And then, you know, with COVID, finding this whole fertility process, if you need help with fertility, is much more challenging during COVID,” Khloé, who started with COVID-19 last year, shared.

“They say, ‘If you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans.’ So, the only time I’m really trying to plan, God is saying, ‘Uh uh, you can’t make your plans like that.’ “

Khloé explained that she is passionate about giving True a brother because she grew up in such a large family.

“I definitely want more children. I have so many brothers and sisters, ”she said. “I think it’s a blessing, especially during those times, to have a family member or people you can play with and trust and just have a friend for the rest of your life.”

In the final trailer for the final season of E! reality series, Khloé and Thompson are seen weighing the surrogate as an option to welcome a second child.
