Khloé Kardashian does not want the internet to see a recent photo of her that appears not to have been edited, pushing for Instagram accounts to remove the image – or else she will face legal consequences, according to Page Six.
O Image Kardashian’s began circulating over the weekend and was reportedly posted by his maternal grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon. Without makeup, Kardashian smiles as she wears a leopard print bikini. The photo is, without a doubt, more candid than the glamup images, smoothed and edited that the mother-of-a-child usually publishes.
But as fan pages started to share the image again, Kardashian’s team quickly started trying to get the accounts to remove it. Tracy Romulus, the director of marketing for KKW Brands, reportedly sent a message to an account: “Hi, baby, please delete that last post on Khloe. The image was stolen and tampered with and originated from a fake IG account. “
Instagram also allegedly alerted accounts about the post’s removal because it was reported for copyright infringement, stating that the image belonged to Kardashian, with an email with a link to a member of his team. (Twitter removed tweets containing the image, seen by The Daily Beast, as well as others tweets who criticized Kardashian about the resistance to the photo.)
The Daily Beast understands that the Kardashian team has contacted at least two Instagram accounts about the photo.
One of the reports, who posted the image side by side with a recently edited photo of Kardashian, removed the photo and wrote: “Today was fucking exhausting. Don’t ask me about the situation, because I can’t legally talk about it. “
In a statement to Page Six, Romulus does not deny that the Kardashian team pushed accounts to remove the image, saying that although it was a “beautiful” photo of the reality star, it was posted by “mistake”.
“The edited color photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted on social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” she said. “Khloé looks beautiful, but it is the right of the copyright owner not to want an image that is not intended to be published to be removed.”

The Daily Beast contacted the Kardashian team for more comments.
Liartingz, a sizeable Instagram account that regularly publishes unedited photos of celebrities comparing retouched images to the actual photo, said that Kardashian’s photo was also removed by Instagram for copyright violations. They said it was one of the rare times they heard of a celebrity claiming “copyright infringement” on these photos.
“She is just proving to everyone what they mean,” they said. “It’s easy to sell women this idea of ’I’m confident and so are you, just buy my jeans and my lip gloss’. But if you are so sure of who you are, why does a photo, which by the way looks beautiful, bother you so much? “
