Khloe Kardashian reveals that when the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” project was chosen in 2006, they only had TWO WEEKS to prepare: ‘We did it right away’
Khloe Kardashian said that keeping up with the Kardashians almost “got nowhere.”
The 36-year-old television personality confessed that E! The reality show, which is due to end this year after 20 seasons on the air, hardly happened because the initial pilot episode did not impress viewers.
‘I think we shot a pilot or something for Ryan [Seacrest] and it went nowhere. And then a show at E! it didn’t work, so they needed something to fill that dead time, ‘she shared during her appearance on Monday on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

She noted: ‘We had no pressure on ourselves. We didn’t even have time to think about it; really, like, having anything pre-conceived, fake. It’s just who we are at the time and I think that’s what makes the show so good. ‘
Kardashian continued, ‘We just weren’t thinking. And it turned out that it was probably the best thing that happened to us because it was, I think, identifiable and realistic for some people. ‘
In September, it was confirmed that Keep Up With The Kardashians would end in 2021 with its 20th and final season.

The personality of the 40-year-old reality show also expressed a debt of gratitude to the series’ development and production staff, noting that his family would not have had the opportunities they now have without them.
‘I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has been watching and supporting me and my family for the past 14 incredible years. This program has made us who we are and I will be forever indebted to everyone who played a role in shaping our careers and changing our lives forever, ”she wrote.
