Khloe Kardashian was met with reaction for using an emoji on Twitter earlier this week.
The KUWTK star, 36, who is currently in Turks and Caicos, went to the social media platform on Wednesday to post a palm symbol, which seemed to offend a number of social media users, as they insisted that they resembled a ‘black woman’.
While some fans claim the icon is a ‘tan’ tone, others point out that she chose the figure that reflects her ‘brown hair and fair skin’.

The microblogging site currently features emojis with at least six different skin tones and hair.
Suppressing his decision, a Twitter user wrote: ‘Why is @khloekardashian wearing Black Woman Emojis ?? During BHM [Black History Month] and we are still in the middle of a Pangea. ‘(sic)
Another critic pointed out that she used an emoji with fair skin and blond hair the day before in a message that said: ‘I always forget to post my photos on Twitter.’
