How does a marketing team follow a Lifetime minifilm starring Mario Lopez (the trailer of which had a million plays overnight, compared to the actual movie, which took more than a week to break 100,000 plays)?
As always, KFC has the fascinating and provocative response of WTF: KFConsole, for chicken and games.
Designed by Cooler Master, KFConsole features an Intel Nuc 9 Extreme Compute Element processor with two 1 TB Seagate BarraCuda SSDs and an exchangeable GPU slot, all contained in the modified chassis of a Cooler Master NC100. It is also compatible with VR, with Ray-Tracing technology that supports 240FPS with 240 Hz output and video quality up to 4K.
It also has a built-in chicken chamber to keep food warm (which it does, in part, as a means of redirecting the heat from the cooling mechanism to the game console).
As the company explained in a press release:
This machine is capable of playing games with high-level specifications, all about keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience … what’s not to like? If Sony or Microsoft wants tips on how to design a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they are welcome to contact you.
CNN contacted Intel to comment on this, but the company declined to participate in the dispute.
There are no confirmed details on the release date or price range, although Collider speculates that it will cost about $ 2,000. This may sound like a lot of money for a silly marketing trick collector’s item, but at least the modular features mean that you can probably get a good game out of it?
