Browns kicker Cody Parkey has been going through a cold spell lately.
Parkey got an extra point in his 23-16 loss to Jets on Sunday and has now lost an extra point in each of the last three games. He also missed a field goal in that period, but Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has shown no signs that the team is considering other options.
“As far as Cody is concerned, he knows what is expected of him. We count on him and I have a lot of confidence in him, ”said Stefanski, via Cleveland.com.
Parkey has 21 out of 24 in field goals and 40 out of 44 in extra points throughout the season, so he was quite reliable before this recent stretch. With the playoffs in play at week 17, the Browns expect him to return to that point.
