Kevin Hart signs a major four-film initial contract with Netflix to star and produce through his company HartBeat Productions
Kevin Hart is approaching the new year by finding a new home on Netflix in a huge four-film deal that has put him in some prime company.
The 41-year-old actor signed an initial four-film contract to star and produce through his company HartBeat Productions, via Deadline.
Although the financial terms of the deal have not been released, they say the streaming service’s last major commitment to a comic actor was the $ 150 million extension to four films he signed with Adam Sandler.

Hart already has a well-established relationship with the streaming service, with his special comedy No F *** s Given was his main comedy special of 2020, seen by 21 million subscribers in the first four weeks of its release.
His films grossed more than $ 4 billion at the box office, giving Netflix another big box office draw, as many cinemas are still closed due to COVID-19.

The actor is currently filming The Man From Toronto with Woody Harrelson, with his new film Fatherhood due for release on April 16.
