Talk about a complicated situation.
At “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” As of Tuesday, Kyra Sedgwick revealed that her husband, Kevin Bacon, gave him an “agonizing” epilation at home while the couple protected themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“At one point, it became clear to me and the two of us that I needed a wax on the bikini line,” recalls the 55-year-old actress. “Part of me was like, ‘How hard can it be?'”
After buying a kit online, waxing it in the microwave and “taking over”, she decided to ask her husband for help with the intimate task.
“Kevin is incredibly helpful,” she said. “I mean, he is very good at many things. He is a good cook and knows how to fix things. “
However, the Hollywood couple soon realized that hair removal is not the forte of the 62-year-old “Footloose” star.
“I’m not saying it was a disaster, but the fact that we didn’t have to go to the emergency room was an absolute miracle,” she said. “There were times when I thought, ‘I thought you knew how to do this!’ … And he said, ‘I didn’t say I knew how to do that. You said I knew how to do that! ‘”
When Sedgwick told her husband that he was “good at everything,” he replied, “well, I’m not good at that.”
Despite the growing fiasco, Sedgwick assured Kimmel that she and her husband for more than 30 years are staying strong.
“I go down during that COVID time and I’m like, ‘How did you sleep? How is your morning so far? ‘And I really do care. I really want to know, which is surprising, ”she said.
