Kentucky will complete the regular season schedule next week against South Carolina at Rupp Arena at noon on ESPN.

The Wildcats were originally scheduled to open the SEC game against South Carolina on December 29, but after COVID problems within the Gamecock program, the game was moved all the way back at the end of the season to the makeup window. SEC. Gamecocks enter the final week 6-12 (4-10).
The biggest lesson here is that Kentucky will not schedule an additional team. John Calipari said after the defeat on Saturday that it was “unlikely” that the UK would find another opponent before the end of the season. The ‘Cats will face Ole Miss on Tuesday night at 9:00 PM ET for their last road game of the season, then end against Frank Martin and company on Saturday.
Kentucky’s previously postponed games against Texas A&M and Detroit Mercy will not be compensated, and Kentucky will end the season with 24 regular season games, 17 of them in conference.
