FINALLY, some news. The Southeast Conference has just announced that Kentucky at No. 18 Missouri, originally scheduled for tomorrow night, will be played on Wednesday night. The game will start at 7 pm Eastern Time at the Mizzou Arena in Columbia and will be broadcast on ESPN2. There is no word on the player’s availability.
Kentucky’s game against Texas on Saturday night was canceled when the program was paused after a combination of positive tests, contact tracking and subsequent quarantine of individuals within the program. The SEC’s COVID-19 management requirements, as developed by the SEC’s Medical Guidance and Return to Activity Task Force, are available at SECsports.com (PDF).
As a result of the postponement, there were some changes to the SEC’s broadcast schedule. South Carolina in Florida will still report at 6:30 pm ET on the SEC Network, followed by Vanderbilt in Texas A&M at 8:30 pm, but the LSU game in Alabama at 7:00 pm ET will be moved to ESPNU.
