Ken Jennings is reflecting on his role as a Danger! guest host when their time on the show ends.
For the past six weeks, Jennings, a consulting producer and one of the show’s “Biggest Ever”, took over as the game’s first guest host after Alex Trebek’s death last year.
After his final episode on Friday, Jennings, 46, thanked those who watched him for the past two months and gave Trebek a special message.
“It’s the end of my six weeks of hosting as a guest on @Jeopardy,” wrote Jennings in Twitter next to a photo of your ticket as a guest. “Thanks for watching, thanks for your patience with a difficult learning curve … and, as always, thanks Alex.”
Jennings also reminded viewers to keep watching Danger! as a “surprise guest hosts carousel” will join the show.
Last month, the beloved game show announced several celebrities who will join the program as guest presenters.

Journalists Savannah Guthrie and Anderson Cooper, as well as Drs. Mehmet Oz and Sanjay Gupta were chosen to host, Danger! executive producer Mike Richards announced earlier this month.
A donation – to a charity of your choice – will be made according to the presentation of each invited host, equal to the accumulated earnings of the competitors who compete during the weeks when the invited hosts take their place in the pulpit.

“We hope that each guest host will bring their unique skills to the program and that our competitors will earn a lot of money that we can match for charity,” Richards said in a statement.
Last month, it was announced that journalist Katie Couric, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, actress Mayim Bialik and journalist Bill Whitaker would also appear as guest hosts this season.
“Alex was a legend, revered by all of us,” said Richards in an earlier statement. “I want to thank our invited hosts, who will not only help us celebrate their great legacy, but will also add their personal touch to the program.”
Trebek’s final episode as the Danger! host was filmed in October and aired in early January.
