Clarkson sings his companion queen’s soft piano ballad as the stage lights change to a hopeful ROYGBIV. “Hold your umbrella tight / Honey, I’m just trying to tell you / That there was always a rainbow / Hanging over your head,” she sings, basically forcing tears to come out of her eyes as she holds the last note. Life sucks for everyone in specific ways, but a Kellyoke’s emotional release is universal.
