Kelley Flanagan of The Bachelor’s details “non-negotiable” that resulted in her separation from Peter Weber

Kelley Flanagan opened up about her and Peter Weber during an appearance on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast, Off the Vine, this week.

While discussing why she and the 29-year-old pilot broke up, the lawyer also revealed that they briefly rekindled the relationship, but ended it forever last month.

“On my side, there were just a lot of non-negotiable things in the relationship that essentially seemed to be worked on or said to be worked on or changed, and the actions kind of speak louder than words,” said the fifth runner-up. in the season of The Bachelor by Weber.

She continued: ‘If there is something that I consider disrespectful in a relationship, I would talk about it and I was very vocal.’

While she would tell him directly when he did something to make her ‘feel like shit’, Flanagan said they were unable to resolve their problem areas.

The reality star noticed that things ‘weren’t really changing’ and eventually she had to ‘accept that’.

“It sucks,” said the beauty about the breakup. ‘He basically tried to stay together and was trying to work things out and I was very, very hesitant about all of this.’

Although they split up, Flanagan was persuaded to come back with Weber after he said to her, ‘I love you, I want to go back with you.’

However, on Valentine’s Day, their relationship ended.

“I don’t think I will be in communication with him,” she added. ‘It is a place in my past, I am focusing on my future desires. I don’t think it was the healthiest thing for me to keep [my] past and [my] future and I wish you all the best. ‘

Despite planning to move to New York together earlier this year, Weber made the move alone.

As for going to the Big Apple a few months after the ex, she joked: ‘It’s a big city, let’s be fine.’

During Weber’s season at The Bachelor last year, Flanagan left the show in the seventh week; he initially selected Hannah Ann Sluss, but his engagement fell apart amid his romantic attraction to Madison Prewitt. He was first linked to Flanagan last April.

Weber announced the separation on New Year’s Eve, saying they ‘decided to go their separate ways’.

“Although our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship just didn’t work out in the end,” he wrote.

‘Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone from whom I learned more than she will ever understand. Someone to whom I am very grateful came into my life and to whom I will always wish life’s greatest blessings, ‘he wrote.

Meanwhile, a week later, she wrote: ‘Peter and I have an unbelievable time together and we will definitely miss them. Unfortunately, he and I are in two different stages of our lives and we saw our future paths differently. ‘

Flanagan made it clear that he had no ill will towards him, saying: ‘I wish Peter the best and I want to thank everyone for his continued support as I proceed to my next chapter.’
