Katy Perry has a lot to do today – but shaving her legs is not one of them!
During the episode of Sunday’s All-Star duet American Idol, Perry, 36, said her duties as a mother took over her daily routine while commenting on competitor Cassandra Coleman’s stellar performance.
“Your voice is a spiritual experience”, the Idol The judge told Coleman about his performance with singer Ryan Tedder. “It’s out of this world, angelic. As a new mother, I don’t have much time, so I stopped shaving my legs. But when you sang, the hair on my legs grew an inch. Full body chills! It was fantastic. “
To prove his point, Perry raised his legs on the judge’s table so the camera could take a look – and fellow judge Luke Bryan confirmed it.
“She literally has hair on her legs,” said Bryan.

In February, Bryan started talking about how Perry is doing as a mom working on the set of ABC’s competitive show.

In late September, Perry shared a series of tweets about his experience of returning to work while raising his daughter. “Popular misconception: being a mother is not a full-time job,” she tweeted.

The “Smile” singer continued: “Part 2: when a mother finally goes back to work (whatever their profession), it is not as if she has come from months off ‘… she is returning from full-time job … to be a mom, lol. “
