Katy Perry reveals that she stopped shaving her legs since she became a mother

Katy Perry was sincere in the episode of “American Idol” on Sunday night.

The busy new mother for daughter, Daisy, revealed that since welcoming the baby, she barely has time to shave her legs.

“As a new mom, I didn’t have much time, so I stopped shaving my legs, but when you sang, the hair on my legs grew an inch and a half,” said Perry. “Full body chills. It was incredible!”

Perry was reacting to the performance of competitor Cassandra Coleman on the song “Find Me” by Sigma and the duet with OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder on “Apologize”.

The 36-year-old judge called Coleman’s performance a “spiritual experience” and said his voice was “angelic”.

Perry later tweeted a GIF of hair growing on his legs. “A real live look at the hair on my leg while I hear @casscoleman sing #AmericanIdol,” she joked.

Perry had already opened up to ET about becoming a mother.

“Motherhood makes you feel powerful, but it also makes you feel vulnerable,” she gushed.

The “Firework” singer welcomed Daisy Dove, her first child, with fiance Orlando Bloom in August.

“She changed my life and still continues to change my life,” Perry told fans in January on Instagram Live.
