Katy Perry reveals that she has been ‘Insecure Jones for a long, long time’ while judging on American Idol

Katy Perry revealed some of her own vulnerabilities by criticizing the performance of college student Erika Perry in the Sunday night episode of American Idol.

Erika Perry, 26, a college student from Orange County, California, appeared with an eccentric look and music style, calling herself ‘ET’ and singing Katy’s own hit by that name.

She made her entrance with a cloak of marabou, her nails painted with aliens, and joked that Katy, 36, could be her sister if her father had donated sperm.

Katy admired her long black dress and joined her as they reared up showing off their trains.

When Erika sat down, she said something so printable about showing her lower regions that, when Luke repeated it, Katy begged him to stop.

Erika’s singing voice, though deliberately curdled at the edges, suggested a hidden talent.

She told the judges that she would come to the program to get back at the school bullies and an ex who dumped her just before the test.
