Katy Perry is clearly loving life as a new mother, but she has a small a little less time in your hands today.

Katy made the revelation during the most recent episode of american idol and it all had to do with the stellar performance of competitor Cassandra Coleman.
“Your voice is a spiritual experience. It is out of this world, angelic,” Katy began in her assessment of Cassandra’s singing.

She continued, “As a new mother, I don’t have much time, so I stopped shaving my legs. But when you sang, my leg hair grew an inch!”
She started to rest her legs on the judges’ table so that Luke Bryant could take a closer look.

“She literally has hair on her legs,” Luke confirmed.
Katy also recently opened up about how receiving Daisy changed her priorities and how she manages her time.

“I think you realize that when you become a mother … you just have to focus on being a mother, and it’s not because you don’t love other people, it’s not because of anything other than you just wanting to be a great mother. ..So a lot of things disappear when you become a mother and it’s the best job in the world, “said Katy during a live on Instagram.
And while Katy doesn’t need any reason to skip shaving her legs, spending more time with her child is a definite bonus!
