Katie Price shares the decision to place Son Harvey at Residential College

British reality star Katie Price talked about his decision to place his firstborn son Harvey at a residential college.

In a new interview with The sun, the mother of five 42-year-old children and a longtime TV personality reflected openly on Harvey’s 18 life-changing decision, who is autistic and partially blind. “It’s so upsetting to think that I won’t see him every day,” Katie told the outlet, “but that’s the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively because I don’t want him to think that I’m just starting to get rid of him.”

Despite the physical separation, Katie expects the resources that her son will have access to. “This is his chance to live an independent life, learn skills and socialize with people other than me,” she shared with The sun. Even so, the distance will be difficult. “When he’s three hours away, it’s going to break my heart,” she said, “because I’m not going to be able to get there because I need to juggle him with my other kids.”

“We have an incredible bond,” noted Katie. “I don’t know how Harvey is going to react or how he will feel when I can’t get to him. It’s very painful to think about it.”
