Kathryn Hahn sings the WandaVision theme song Agatha All Along – / Movie

Agatha all the time

This post contains spoilers for the last episode of WandaVision.

It was Kathryn Hahn all this time. Not only has the actress who steals the show been the consistent highlight of WandaVision like Agnes, nosy neighbor of Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), Hahn has been the secret weapon … behind the extremely catchy new theme song “Agatha All Along”. That’s right, these are Hahn’s golden flutes singing Addams Familystyle of music written by a pair of composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Which adds another wonderful layer to the title “Agatha All Along”.

Have you found it impossible to get “Agatha All Along” out of your head since you first heard the revealing theme song during the last WandaVision episode, “Breaking the Fourth Wall”? Well, that’s thanks to the talents of Lopez and Anderson-Lopez, who wrote the earworm, alongside all the other theme songs they played during WandVisionruns. And while the songwriting duo lent their own voices to the songs, along with singers like Kathleen Hanna and nameless choruses, Lopez and Anderson-Lopez revealed in an interview with Marvel.com that the singer behind “Agatha All Along” was nobody less than Hahn herself:

Anderson-Lopez: [Agatha] gets its own theme song which is more or less The Munsters, Addams Family, witch and macabre feeling.
Lopez: This is what Kristen is not using. I’m in the group of guys, the backups. But Kathryn [Hahn] takes the lead in that. She was incredible.

As if we couldn’t love Hahn any more, whose gonzo performance like crazy Agnes gushing hints at WandaVision she was already a driving force for the show’s success, she has to go and prove that she is an immense talent that deserves all the renewed ardor of the internet she is receiving, and much more. Lopez is the first to remind readers that Hahn is a “musical theater star”, whose musical talents are being shown on Apple TV + central Park, ”In which Anderson-Lopez’s sister Kate Anderson works as a songwriter. “We don’t know, because of that, how amazing her voice is,” said Lopez.

“And she is a great sportsman,” added Anderson-Lopez. “Only half an hour – it wasn’t half an hour that we worked with her, really? After that, I thought, we need to work with her again. Because she was just a game [for anything], and she was like, [imitates witch] haha ha.

I’ve always known Hahn as a thief in comedy scenes in films like Step Brothers, shows how Parks and recreationand dozens of others, but I never heard of her musical theater background and I can only be surprised to see how perfect she is in WandaVision. Seeing Hahn flex not only his comedy and singing traits, but also showcasing her as a supervillain, is pretty much everything you could ask for.
