If you watch Grey’s Anatomy, you know one thing is true about the long-running medical drama: Ever Expect the unexpected.
The last season was full of surprises – just like the previous season of Gray, in which we discover that Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) left his wife, friends and colleagues in Seattle to reconnect with ex-love Izzie Stevens (Katherine Heigl).

Of course, neither Izzy nor Alex actually appeared in the episode, since Chambers left Gray in the middle of the season and Heigl left the show in the middle of the sixth season in 2010.

“I didn’t see that,” admitted Heigl, before asking about the status of Alex’s relationship before departure: “Wasn’t he with someone?”

Then she took a step forward: “Listen, isn’t that a stupid move?”

IT’S OK! So, it seems that she is not a fan of this plot. Got it.

As for Heigl – who is currently promoting his role on the Netflix show Firefly Lane – will return to Gray coming soon? Well: “I’m super focused on this program and my passion for it,” she said of Firefly Lane while discussing whether she would ever wear the uniform again. “I would never say never, but it is not likely.”
