The Duchess of Cambridge “saved” Prince William after his “dysfunctional” education and has now devoted his life to making him happy, said a royal expert.
Kate met her future husband at university and they were good friends before the romance blossomed, and she said she was a huge support when he entered real life.
Speaking on the Royal Beat of True Royalty TV, Angela Levin, author of Harry: Biography of a Prince, explains that William was going through a difficult time when he met Kate.
She explains: “I think Kate helped save William. I think it was very difficult for him to leave a dysfunctional family, lose his mother at such a young age and I think he was in a very difficult situation.”

Angela believes that, since the wedding, Kate has worked hard to support William in his real work, but has also helped him discover his own identity.
She said, “She really encouraged you.
“Her whole life is about making him happy, I think. She found things that really made him feel important and worthy, instead of just cutting ties.
“I think she helped him to be a husband, introducing him a lot to his own family, spending time with a normal family and being a father.”

The pair first met in 2001 at St Andrew’s University, where they enrolled in the same course and lived in the same homes.
And it wasn’t long before the bubbly, attractive brunette beauty caught Wills’ attention.
Real author Tom Quinn previously recalled, “One of the funny stories is that he was so desperate to meet you that, while walking towards you, he apparently stumbled and said, ‘Oh, what a terrible start, you will think I am a complete clot. “

Fortunately, Kate laughed at her awkwardness and the two quickly became close friends, going back and forth from classes together and forming a strong bond that would soon turn into romance.
However, it was Kate’s now legendary appearance at a charity fashion show in March 2002 that started the romance.
William paid £ 220 for a front row ticket to the catwalk event – and thankfully, 19-year-old Kate came staggering down the catwalk wearing nothing but a transparent stocking dress over black panties.
When she passed by the prince, William said he turned to his friend Fergus Boyd and whispered, “Wow, Fergus, Kate is hot!”
But Kate’s cool head prevailed – and she let her prince do the chase.
Royal reporter Simon Vigar said, “When they were at the university in St Andrews, I have the authority to say that one of the few girls who did not chase William or try to get his attention was Catherine.
“If true, she pretended to be an absolute blind. He was definitely the target of many Sloaney girls back at university, but it was only at the infamous fashion show that William noticed Catherine.”
