Kat Dennings emerged as a key character in WandaVision, not only answering many questions from fans within the universe, but also providing much needed comic relief in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series. In a new interview, Dennings explained that he didn’t know much about WandaVision. When she knew she was going to be on one of the Disney + shows, she really thought it could be different.

With episode 4 of the show, the MCU officially reintroduced Jimmy Woo from Randall Park, who was last seen in Ant-Man and the Waspand Darcy Lewis of Dennings, who was last seen in Thor: The Dark World.

Kat Dennings about being brought back to the MCU for ‘WandaVision’
In a recent interview, Dennings talked about being invited back WandaVision and how she thought she would be back for a different show.
“There were two elements to this process. For me, it was just getting the call that they wanted me back, which was a big surprise, ”said the actress. “And then to hear that it was WandaVision bBecause I was aware of, you know, their new shows that they were all putting out. And I thought, ‘Oh, it must be one of those, but I wonder what it is. WandaVision it was what I least expected because Darcy Lewis had no interaction with the world around the show. “

Dennings then explained how she entered a conference room and signed an NDA before actually knowing the details of what was going on.

“So this was a real left turn. And the process really was, I got the call and I didn’t know anything, [I] I just kind of knew what a show it was, ”she explained. “And then I went to a very secret conference room. I signed an NDA in the lobby, entered the room and on the walls were all the references and all the things they were planning. And it was crazy. “
Even after seeing the references, Dennings still had no idea what the show was planning, but he was ready for anything.
“I mean, I thought, ‘What is this? This is so surprising, ”she continued. “So they really did it. And I’m really excited to be here, honestly. “
