Exactly one year after the launch of Jesus was born, Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir came back with an EP called Emmanuel. The five-song project was composed and produced by West. Listen Emmanuel below.
According to press materials, Emmanuel it means “God is with us” and the music presented on the EP is composed of “old new music inspired by Latin”. The EP was released on Christmas Day in “celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ”.
Kanye West’s last studio solo album Jesus is king arrived last year after several delays. This year, he shared some unique singles, including “Wash Us in the Blood” with Travis Scott, “DONDA” and “Nah Nah”. He was supposed to release a new album, also called DONDAthis summer, however the LP never materialized.
