Kanye West’s Yeezy brand sues intern for breaking NDA

Kanye West’s clothing brand, Yeezy, is suing one of his summer interns after they posted confidential photos on Instagram.

It comes after intern, Ryan Inwards, signed confidentiality agreements that contained a $ 500,000 provision for damages settled, according to a complaint filed on Friday (January 15) at the LA County Superior Court (for The Hollywood Reporter)

The NDAs prohibit the disclosure or dissemination of confidential information on social media, but Yeezy claimed that his intern shared non-public images on Instagram and did not remove them, even after the West company sent several cease and desist letters.

Inwards is being sued for breach of contract and conversion, and Yeezy is asking for $ 500,000 in damages, plus punitive damages, because he believes he is acting maliciously.

Yeezy is also seeking an injunction requiring him to deliver the images and be banned from similar posts in the future.

Last month, West released an amazing new Sunday Service Choir EP called ‘Emmanuel’, which was inspired by “old and Latin music”.

The rapper previously shared a surprise release on Christmas 2019 with the Sunday Service Choir album ‘Jesus Is Born’.

The five-track EP ‘Emmanuel’ is a “celebration of the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ” and is also credited to the Sunday Service Choir. He was executive produced by West and features a Christian prayer in ‘Requiem Aeternam’ and an interpretation of the hymn ‘Gloria’.

Meanwhile, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are planning to divorce, with sources saying the couple is currently living “separate lives”.

According Page Six, “Divorce is imminent” for the celebrity couple, with several close sources claiming that Kardashian hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser to represent her.
