Kanye West’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis recalls the time he was allegedly fired by the rapper due to a small incident involving his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in 2016

Kanye West’s former bodyguard, Steve Stanulis, spoke about working with the singer and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, in a new interview.

On Wednesday, Steve spoke at The Kyle and Jackie The Show about how he was allegedly fired by the rap artist in 2016 – a move he claims to have been because he asked Kim a question before an event in New York City.

Recalling his statements, Steve said: ‘I was working on The Met Gala week and we heard about 25 minutes before we left [Kim and Kanye] they were looking for a better car.

‘I had to go up and tell them that we couldn’t get a car in that period of time, so I happened to go up and Kim answered.’

Steve said he spoke briefly to Kim and told her that they were unable to get the vehicle in such a short time – before Kanye joined them, now 43.

– Then it happened that he turned the corner. He saw me there, and I said, “What’s up, Mr. West?” He passed by, closed the door in my face and that was my last day, ‘added Steve.

– So he really didn’t like you talking to his wife? Kyle said, to which Steve replied, ‘I don’t think so!’

At the time, the story was widely disseminated by various media.

His new interview comes just days after Steve claims he is meditating on offers from two streaming studios to detail his time working with the music star.

He told Page Six last Monday that the studios that chase him ‘see this as 48 real hours or a real lethal weapon’ about his experiences with the Grammy winner.

Steve, a former dancer from NYPD and Chippendales, said that “each day was a new adventure” amid his “two distinct moments” of work for the musician in 2016.

“There are a ton of stories I didn’t tell,” he said, referring to events that took place in New York City, including on the Saturday Night Live set, at the Met Gala and New York Fashion Week. ‘I was one of your favorite guys.’

The pair had a turbulent relationship, negotiating legal threats, which Steve said will likely be a starting point for a creative project.

“It starts with a $ 30 million lawsuit and moves back, with all the madness,” he said. ‘Why not approach the elephant in the room? They threatened to sue me twice differently – once that day, and then on a podcast this year. ‘
