Kanye West has been strangely quiet in the weeks since news of his divorce from Kim Kardashian broke out in early January. It was said last month that Kardashian and West had started attending marriage counseling, but reports surfaced that they dropped out of sessions almost as quickly. Now, with the alleged divorce still pending, we hear that West is packing his belongings, that is, a ton of sneakers.
According to Page Six, the same channel that broke the news of the divorce for the first time, West has been busy moving house items while Kardashian is in the Turks and Caicos with the family. Tabloid sources say West left the Calabasas residence with 500 pairs of sneakers on his shoulder – it is not known if they were all Yeezys, but it can be assumed.
“They both felt it would be less dramatic without them both at home,” the source told Page Six.
On January 5, Page Six reported that Kardashain and West’s divorce was “imminent”. This news was followed by updates that the two were participating in marriage counseling, but by the end of that month they would have given up trying to make it work and West was scheduling meetings with divorce lawyers.
