Sources count Page Six that Kanye cut off direct contact with Kim even before she filed for divorce last month. Kanye reportedly changed all of his phone numbers and said to his future ex-wife, “You can contact me through my security guard.” But despite the lack of communication, internal sources say the two are still the parents of their four children, North, 7; Santo, 5; Chicago, 3; and Psalm, 1.
According to the vehicle, Kanye regularly visits his children at the Southern California home while Kim is away – an agreement they both agreed to.
“She trusts him close to the children. He loves them and is seeing a lot of them, ”said the source. “She leaves the house and he arrives and leaves with the children. They have an army of babysitters, so the transition is easy. “
The insider’s statements are in line with a previous People report, which detailed Kanye and Kim’s alleged co-parent strategy. A source told the magazine that Kanye will spend time with his children with a nanny gift, but requested that Kim be absent during that time.
“Kim made it clear that Kanye can talk to his children whenever he wants,” said the source. “She never threatened to keep him away from children. It just demands that it not damage them. She knows that he loves them and they love him. Kanye can make children’s FaceTime whenever he wants. “
Kim filed for divorce last month, after almost seven years of marriage. It is reported that Kanye is going through a difficult time during the separation, but has found comfort with his children.
“Divorce has been difficult for him, but knowing that he has access to his children and that he has shared custody is facilitating the transition,” said another source. “… Kanye hopes that they will be reconciled, but he doesn’t expect that in the immediate future.”
