Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are not talking after the divorce – after the rapper changed all of his phone numbers and told her that she could only contact him through his security guard.
A source told Page Six exclusively that Kanye, 43, abruptly separated from Kim, 40, before they even filed for divorce.
But despite the animosity, the source added that the pair continues to look after the children, and Kanye regularly visits them at home while Kim is away.
The source said: “Even before Kim filed for divorce, Kanye changed his number and said, ‘You can contact me through my security guard.’
“Despite this, she trusts him close to the children. He loves them and is seeing many of them.
“She leaves the house and he arrives and leaves with the children. They have an army of babysitters, so the transition is easy. “
It was reported that Kim would never prevent Kanye from having a relationship with his children, but that she should not be there when he visited them, at her request.
Page Six uniquely revealed that KimYe would divorce in January. After intense mediation, Kim filed for divorce on February 19.
The couple fought for the Hidden Hills property in their divorce, but Kim was allowed to keep the property as his sons’ main home: daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3; and sons Santo, 5, and Psalm, 1.
The source added: “Kim owns all the land around the house, but Kanye bought the house himself, so they shared the cost of the renovations. Kim struggled to maintain the place because it is her children’s home, and she won.
“Kanye, of course, has his ranch in Wyoming, but he recently was in LA recording and working, so he comes to visit the kids regularly. But she is not transporting children to and from Wyoming. “
