Kane will donate his actual WWE payment

Veteran WWE Superstar Kane is donating his Royal Rumble salary.

Kane returned to the ring during the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match on Sunday, entering the fight at # 18. He was eliminated in 11th place by Damian Priest. Kane lasted 1:51 and eliminated double champion Dolph Ziggler from Ricochet and SmackDown.

CBS-WVLT in Knoxville, Tennessee, reports that Kane, who spends his days working as Mayor of Knox County, Glenn Jacobs, announced today that he will donate his WWE Royal Rumble earnings to the Mayor’s Applied Technology Scholarship Fund from Knox County to TCAT Knoxville (Tennessee College of Applied Technology Knoxville).

It was noted that Kane did a quick COVID-19 test before leaving, arriving at Tropicana Field and before returning to work after the trip to St. Petersburg, Florida. The report also said that Kane used a facial coverage recommended by the CDC and kept his distance from others while he was not performing, according to the mayor’s office.

Mayor Jacobs donated $ 5,000 of his salary last month to help start the Applied Technology Scholarship Fund for TCAT Knoxville. The fund benefits the son of a Knox County employee, including an adopted, biological, legal or adopted child who is a student at the school.
