Kacey Musgraves is not restraining himself.
The 32-year-old countryman and native of Texas accessed Twitter this week to announce a new charity project that will seek to raise money for Texans affected by winter storms, while also attacking Senator Ted Cruz.
The Texas Republican was attacked after it was revealed that he took his family to Mexico, despite millions of people in his home state dealing with losses of electricity, home heating and drinking water due to storms.
Musgraves was inspired by the incident to create T-shirts with the words “Cruzin ‘for a bruzin'”.

“Makes ‘CRUZIN FOR A BRUZIN’ t-shirts,” wrote the singer “Rainbow”, referring to their own actions. “Donate profits to needy Texans.”
In a second tweet, the star proved that he was planning to put his money where his mouth is and encouraged followers not to “RUN ANYWHERE“as she prepared to share a link with them.
The tweet was a potential reference to the runoff elections that took place in Georgia in January, transferring the US Senate from control of Republicans – Cruz’s party – to Democrats.
In a third tweet, Musgraves shared a link to purchase a shirt, and added: “Texas is cold, I can be cold.”

On Musgraves’ website, the shirt can be purchased for $ 29.99 and the profits are promised to “directly support needy Texans”.
The site lists four charities that will benefit: Feed The People Dallas, Casa Marianella and the American Red Cross of Central and South Texas.
The t-shirt, described as “unisex” and “super soft”, will be available for purchase until February 21.
On Friday, the ace revealed that the shirts have already made enough money.

The singer added: “And we will keep them for the weekend!”
