Justin Timberlake confirmed that he and his wife, Jessica Biel, welcomed their second child over the summer – a son named Phineas.

The 39-year-old singer told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show, which airs Monday afternoon.

“He’s amazing and so cute. No one is sleeping,” said Timberlake in the sample clip. “But we are thrilled. We are thrilled and we couldn’t be happier. Very grateful.”

DeGeneres said she was one of the few close friends in the family who knew the exciting news.

The couple managed to keep their pregnancy a secret during the pandemic because they spent most of their time in Montana with their firstborn son, Silas, 5.

Timberlake said Silas is “super excited” about becoming an older brother.

“At the moment he is enjoying it very much”, revealed the actor / producer. “Phin still can’t walk or chase him, so we’ll see what happens.”

In April 2018, Biel told Entertainment Tonight that she hoped to expand her family.

“Children are incredible. They are really difficult, but they are really incredible,” she said. “I think it would be incredible to have a bigger family. I don’t know if that is in the cards for us, we’ll see.”
