They cannot drink champagne in celebration.
And they are legally prohibited from renting a car on their honeymoon.
But still: Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey have a reason to be very happy at the moment.
They can finally kiss!
They can do many other things too … because Justin Duggar and Claire Spivey are married!
On Friday, the 18-year-old son of Jim Bob and Michelle posted a photo of the wedding, simply adding the date of their wedding to the caption.
He also tagged wedding photographer Lori Blythe as part of the short message.
Justin’s polarizing parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, shared the photo on the Duggar Family’s Instagram page, adding a “newlywed” banner.
Spivey, meanwhile, posted the same snapshot and caption about her to have Instagram page.
In addition, many of Justin’s followers conveyed their congratulations.
“I am very happy for you both !! Congratulations,” wrote one person, while adding the following:
“What a sweet young love! Congratulations, loves, May God bless your marriage.”
Even for this very religious family, Justin and Claire seemed to move very quickly.
They just announced that they were dating in September.
After just two months, the duo announced their engagement in November 2020.
“There is nothing comparable to finding the one you should spend your life with,” Justin and Claire told Us Weekly at the time.
“We know that we find this in each other.
“We cannot wait to get married and we expect a life together of faith in Christ, love for one another and happiness!”
Duggar asked Spivey the huge question while celebrating his 18th birthday with her in Texas.
Previously, he was thrilled about the moment when he learned that Claire was the One in a sweet and totally improvised scene in Counting On.
“God brought Claire into my life and I didn’t really expect it, but he did bring her with me when I needed her,” he said at the time.
“Claire has a lot of good qualities and I can sit here and tell you all, but there are so many good things that I see in her. I am so blessed to have you in my life. “
Naturally, due to the young age and the apparent ignorance of Justin about his now wife, it has been said that the couple’s parents arranged this union.
The two families have known each other for decades.
Jim Bob, however, denied the charge, claiming that his children are free to date and marry whomever they want.
According to reports, he said this with a serious face.
Justin is the youngest of Jim Bob and Michelle’s children to marry. In fact, they are running out of single adults right now (sorry, Jana).
He is the 14th out of his parents’ 19 children.
After the engagement, Spivey helped Justin through one of the most painful moments of his youth, when he pulled wisdom teeth out in January.
“How I liked taking care of this guy,” Spivery, the oldest of six siblings, wrote on Instagram, next to a photo of her with a giant Praying for justin flag.
“He is a soldier and has had a wonderful recovery.
“Thankful for every moment with him, even when exchanging ice packs and giving medicine.”
How romantic right?!?
Next, we can only assume that this husband and wife will have strange sex that will only last 39 seconds, but will result in Claire needing ice and medicine in, like, nine months.
They’re going to get pregnant, guys.
That is what we are saying here.
Hey, good for them. Congratulations to the teenagers for this blessed union and the imminent birth of their first child, at the end of this year or at the beginning of the next.
It is not their fault that they have very controlling and terrible parents. We really hope that they will be happy together. Forever.
