Justin Bieber visits prison with pastor in LA

Justin Bieber released Justice last Friday. In addition to MLK’s blatant abuse of context-free quotes, it’s a very good pop album – much better than the previous one. Bieber spent his holiday release weekend in Turks and Caicos, but now that he’s back in the U.S., he’s apparently doing less glamorous things, like visiting the prison.

As TMZ points out, Bieber visited the California State Prison in Los Angeles County today with his pastor for some kind of ministerial visit. It is not clear whether he spoke or sang or what. There is also no word on which pastor he was there with, but it was probably not Carl Lentz, the celebrity pastor of the Hillsong branch in New York who was previously Bieber’s mentor but recently resigned after cheating on his wife. Bieber has been linked to several different famous pastors over the years, and in January he clarified that he had moved from Hillsong to CHURCHOME – which, as you can infer by name, is a church group that gathers in people’s homes.

ANYWAY, according to the TMZ source, Bieber’s visit to prison was safe for COVID, he was there to “support faith-based programs”, and he arrived in the trailer that he and his wife have been running in the western United States recently . In related news, he shared the gospel message and his own personal testimony on Instagram today.
