On January 23, 2014, Bieber was arrested in Florida for being pulled off a Miami Beach street in a yellow Lamborghini and for failing a sobriety test. He was later accused of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving with a suspended license.

After the arrest, Bieber was able to avoid the prison sentence by pleading guilty to a minor charge of reckless driving. The singer also made a charity donation and agreed to take anger management classes.
This is not the first time that Bieber has reflected on his previous arrest. In 2017, the singer wrote on Instagram that he had grown a lot since his DUI.
