Justice League sequels: Zack Snyder’s plan for Henry Cavill’s superman looks incredible

What’s cool, which I talked about a little bit, is that in the two films that would come after this film, you basically have the fall of the Earth, and Superman is the main villain of this film. After the timeline is touched back and Batman … after Batman’s sacrifice, Superman becomes the de facto head of the Justice League. And then he becomes the main hero of the final film. So you literally, in two films, he has to go from being really the destroyer of worlds to the savior of everyone. In many ways, Superman has the biggest arc of anybody in the whole thing. And we did it on purpose because – maybe it was overcompensation for the notion that Superman doesn’t normally change much, and in many of the Superman races (comics), his morality is the rock against which everyone crashes. And we thought, ‘Let’s really stretch Superman as far as we can.’ Because we think, well, frankly, we have a great Superman. Henry can do that. So why not?
