Just die now

Just Die Already, a “chaos sandbox game for old people”, will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch, in addition to its previously announced PC version (Steam, Epic Games Store), announced the publisher Curve Digital and developer DoubleMoose . The release date has not yet been announced.

Here’s an overview of the game, via its Steam page:

On

Just die now is a chaos sandbox game for old people created by the designers of Goat Simulator.

You are a retired old man in the near future, where people will not have children. There is no one to pay pensions due to the ungrateful millennials who prefer to play video games instead of working for real. With no one to cover your living costs, you – like everyone else in this world – have no choice but to survive on your own.

How will you survive in a world that wants you Just die now?

To make matters worse, you have just been kicked out of your retirement home and your only option now is to take dangerous challenges and explore the world in search of retirement tickets to qualify for free retirement care.

So, with society wishing for your death, isn’t it finally time to live a little?

Main features

  • Be old, be brave – You get old. Angry, fragile, poor and hating the world: the dream you didn’t know you had until now. Finally, you found something in common with your grandparents.
  • Break a leg … Break a neck – Discover the joys of being old and made of glass, anything can break you and you can break everything.
  • Don’t try to do this in a home (for retirees) – Complete dangerous challenges that you will never try at home and answer existential questions like: can you launch yourself from a catapult and land on someone? Or can you survive by losing your head, grabbing it and hitting someone with it?
  • One mission: to retire – Earn rewards for completing dangerous challenges, your goal? To qualify for a suitable retirement home. It makes perfect sense. A word of advice: try to stay whole so that you can have fun in the end …
  • Sandbox Multiplayer – Play alone or with up to four players in online multiplayer. Complete challenges together or just cause confusion and tear off your friends’ members!
  • Be old. Twice. – You get old. So good that we said it twice.
  • Unlimited interaction – Pick up and interact with a wide variety of objects. Everything from giant trout, trampolines, weapons, electrical wiring and fireworks, just to name a few. Bazookas, axes, trombones, horns and jetpacks, to name a few more. Yes, they can all be used to hurt and maim.
  • Embrace Your Inner Boomer – Wreak havoc on the millennial and zoomer population (we forget Generation X, just like everyone else). NPCs react differently depending on age – some laugh and applaud others getting hurt, while others flee in terror.
  • The game can be as crazy as you – The city is full of detailed environments, full of secrets and hidden paths, which encourage detailed exploration and peculiar experimentation to really see everything.
  • Old. People. – Okay, this is the last time we promised.
  • One more thing! – Wait, wait one last thing! Did we mention that you can find a glue gun that allows you, for example, to attach fireworks to a bicycle and then ride a bicycle? Or that you can get in the way of traffic and make a traffic jam and make the cars explode? Or that you can put wings on your arm and fly around?
