BTS’s Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook were nominated for Best Pop / Group Performance Duo for their song “Dynamite” at the 2021 Grammy Awards. In preparation for the Grammy Awards, BTS participated in the Recording Academy’s Virtual Music On A Mission Concert on March 12.
For the virtual concert, BTS performed “Dynamite”. As always with the septet, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook brought something new to the presentation. BTS’s Jungkook showed off his drumming skills, shocking ARMY and setting the internet on fire.

The performance of “Dynamite” starts with Jungkook singing while standing at a door. His blue hair matching his blue microphone, he sings as he walks to the seats of a large auditorium.
The camera turns to RM sitting on one of the plush red armchairs in another section of the theater. J-Hope starts singing and joins Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook on stage.
Seven spotlights shine on the Korean band, and Jungkook sits behind a battery in the middle of the group. Jungkook played anxiously while singing most of the song. After the music bridge, all seven members of BTS stand up and sing the final chorus of the song.

With the lighting, the scenery and the general energy, the Music On A Mission concert easily becomes one of BTS’s most memorable performances “Dynamite”.
BTS fans loved Jungkook playing the drums
Big Hit Entertainment uploaded BTS’s Music On A Mission performance to BANGTANTV on YouTube. “DRUMMER JUNGKOOK” started to become a trend on Twitter while BTS fans discussed the performance.
Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS and is often known as the Golden Maknae because he is good at everything. The BTS singer always surprises ARMY with new skills he has learned, and the virtual show was no exception.
“I can’t forget drummer Jungkook. I just can’t, ”wrote a fan on Reddit.
Another fan wrote, “Dance break Dynamite was a block for me until I saw blue-haired drummer Jungkook Dynamite. It is a fierce competition. “

“Jungkook…. as if I need another reason to love you. Can you imagine what else he is hiding from us? As far as I know, he could be an, idk, champion of origami and is just waiting for the perfect moment to reveal it, ”wrote a Reddit user.
BTS will perform at the 2021 Grammy Awards
In previous years, the MusiCares Personality of the Year gala was held in person. Because of the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), the Recording Academy gave a virtual concert called Music On A Mission to benefit MusiCares.
BTS originally released “Dynamite” in August 2020, and since then the members have sung the song dozens of times. Still, Music On A Mission showed that the band keeps the music catchy by sounding fresh, finding creative ways to improve their performances.
If the Korean band managed to take that level of performance off for the virtual show, there is no doubt that the performance of the members at the Grammy Awards will be a showstopper.
The 2021 Grammy Awards will air on CBS on March 14 at 8:00 pm ET.
