Jujutsu Kaisen fans discover the secret of a villain’s language

Kaisen Jujutsu fans have discovered the secret of a villain’s mysterious language! The debut season of the original manga series by Gege Akutami took over the fall 2020 anime season and introduced the main character Yuji Itadori and fans to a new dark world of enemies. With the cursed spirits making their debut as monsters in the series, some of them ended up at the top of the food chain as they evolved to a point where they became as strong and intelligent as the Jujutsu Sorcerers who fight them. But one was peculiarly intriguing.

One of those cursed spirits spoke in a strange way, and the fans managed to discover what this mysterious language was. As noted by gfstach on Reddit, it seems that this mysterious cursed spirit was really talking backwards and is even more noticeable in the English dub when you play backwards. You can see how it works below:

In the first half of the anime’s debut season, this cursed spirit makes its debut alongside Geto, Mahito and Jogo. While the other three manage to carry out some kind of action over the Jujutsu KaisenFirst episode sequence, this final spirit has not yet made its move after saving Game. Without revealing much, the spirit’s name is Hanami and we will see him act soon in the anime adaptation, for sure.

As for when the anime will be back, Episode 14 of Kaisen Jujutsu will premiere on January 15th after a brief hiatus for the holiday season. When he returns, he will not only start the second course of his debut season, but will also start a new arc that will introduce all sorts of new allies, enemies and more that anime fans will surely follow the success of that first half.

But what do you think of this discovery? Curious to see what this villain will do in Jujutsu Kaisenfuture of anime? What do you expect to see from this villain when the anime returns?
