Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns and Jordyn Woods, Kylie Jenner’s former friend, denied the accusations of cheating that surfaced on Instagram on Thursday. The two accused an Instagram page of creating a fake image that allegedly depicts Towns, 25, having a conversation with another woman while he was dating Woods, 23, in December. In one of his tweets on Thursday, Towns even suggested that he was ready to propose to Woods.
The Instagram page City gossip shared a screenshot of Instagram private messages allegedly between Towns and another woman. In a message, Towns says to the unknown woman, “I love you”. City gossip claimed that the screen capture dated back to December. Woods and Towns started dating last year.

Towns and Woods did not let the rumor spread for long before denying it. “As crazy as someone can make fake screenshots and upload them to blogs and you can believe it. My relationship is more than solid and I put that on everything ”, tweeted Woods. Later, she said that Woods doesn’t even “talk like that” and noted, “I usually don’t mean anything, but what you’re not going to do is play with my man’s character.”
Towns joined in, replying to one of Woods’ tweets. “A lot of idiots out there with photoshop skills,” he wrote, adding a laughing emoji. “So I took the meanest girl in the game and you think I’m going to waste my energy on anyone else,” wrote Towns in another tweet. “GTFOH! The same haters we have now will be the same ones we had when I put that ring on her finger.” Woods retweeted Towns’ two tweets.

The person who supposedly sent the messages to Towns was model Camila Kendra, notes AND! News. Kendra is now in a relationship with Bachelor Nation star Tyler Cameron, and she took her story on Instagram to also call the screenshot as fake. “Fake news,” she wrote. “I don’t know why people find it fun [create] fake pages and create messages that never happened. “

Woods achieved fame through his connection with Jenner, as they were best friends and even lived together. The two have not been seen together publicly since February 2019, when Woods attended a party at home with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s then boyfriend. Woods allegedly kissed Thompson at the party and later denied that there was anything between her and Thompson on the Red Table Talk. Thompson and Kardashian have reconciled, but there is no public indication that Jenner and Woods are better off today.
Woods and Towns started dating last year. They have appeared several times on each other’s pages on Instagram. Towns, whose mother died of coronavirus last year, shared photos of himself with Woods on a beach in September. “There is darkness in life and there are lights, and you are one of the lights, the light of all lights,” he wrote in the caption.
