New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson will soon launch his first Jordan Brand sneaker. The sophomore striker is one of the elite players to get Jordan Brand signature footwear and fans have finally caught a glimpse of what tennis will look like.
The exclusive footwear, called Jordan Z Code, is scheduled to hit stores in April. As the expected date is soon, a Jordan Brand announcement confirming the exact release date and other versions can arrive at any time.
Here is the photo that appeared online and was posted by Sneaker News so that fans can finally see what the shoe will look like:
Sneaker News wrote: “A first look at Zion Williamson’s signature shoe, the Jordan Z Code, has been revealed. They are expected to be released in April 2021, based on reports from September last year.”
Several colorways have been confirmed, according to Sneaker News.
The shoe shows the Williamson logo on the tongue and has “multicolored touches on the eyelets and lace sole, a wild pattern on the collar and a white mesh upper that looks light and breathable”, as Sneaker News describes the look.
In 2019, Williamson signed a five-year endorsement contract with Jordan Brand and brought the richest annual deal for a rookie in NBA history. Not bad.
