Jojo Siwa is to let your actions speak for themselves.
This week, the 17-year-old posted a TikTok video singing Lady Gaga’s hit “Born This Way”. At one point, the teenager murmured the lyrics: “It doesn’t matter whether gay, straight or bi, lesbian or transgender, I’m on the right track, baby, I was born to survive.”
His thousands of fans suspected that this was Jojo’s way of presenting himself as a member of the LGBTQ + community. After all, the teenager routinely expresses herself through dance and music.
Speculation about his sexuality later exploded when Jojo participated in a video shared by Kent Boyd, member of the LGBTQ + TikTok group, Pride House. In the clip, the group and Jojo danced Paramore“Ain’t It Fun”, with a special note in the lyrics, “Now, you’re one of us.”
Although Jojo did not explicitly say that she is coming out, her close friends and family expressed enthusiasm for the teenager.
Her brother, Jayden Siwa, commented on his video “Born This Way”, “So happy for you JoJo !! I love you!”
